For BETA Customers, some folks might need to upgrade their machines' SD Cards with ones with ones with newer software.
The new software contains bug fixes and other improvements.
ALL BETA Customers (In order to fix the Octoprint "sudo service octoprint restart" bug)
Customers with machines shipped before August 20, 2014.
Plywood Series 1s are not affected.
Tools Required: 2mm Allen Key (Included with Machine)
Time Required: Less Than 15 Minutes
1. Completely Power off and unplug your Series 1
2. Open up the E-tray cover.
3. Locate the BeagleBone Black.
4. Swap the SD Cards.
5. Re-install the E-tray cover and restart the machine.
Note: Your Gcode files will not come with you as you upgrade so make sure they are not important to you and are backed up on your computer. If you configured your WiFi you will have to do that over again. See this link for information on how.
